Make It Land

Built to be chosen, not just seen.

We find the one thing that makes you the obvious choice, then design the brand and the proof that land it.

Make It Land is a positioning-led brand and web studio for founder-led businesses.

What we do

We build the asset layer that makes a leader or a business the obvious choice.

01
Positioning

We find the one overlooked thing that makes you the obvious choice, and make it the center of everything.

02
The site

Designed and built to make the decision easy for whoever is choosing you, and to move them from interest to yes.

03
The proof

Case studies built around evidence: what happened, what changed, what it was worth.

How we work

The judgment and the words are ours, sharpened by a career in typography. AI only makes us faster, moving from strategy to production in weeks, not quarters.

Who it's for

Built for founder-led businesses that have outgrown the way they explain themselves.

Make It Land works with founders and independent leaders whose business is already credible, but whose positioning, website, or story hasn't caught up. The work is especially useful when the founder is still central to why customers buy.

Thesis

Most brands are seen. Few are chosen. We build for chosen.

The advantage that gets missed is rarely small. It is usually the whole strategy, waiting to be named.

Visibility is cheap now. Preference is not. The work is not to be noticed more, it is to be the obvious choice when the decision gets made.

About

Make It Land is the independent positioning, brand, and web studio of Nicole Miñoza.

For two decades I worked on the most overlooked thing in software: typography. Everyone used it; almost no one thought it mattered. I turned it from a finishing touch into a reason people chose Adobe and stayed.

That is the method. Find the advantage a business has learned to overlook, make it measurable, and design everything around it until it becomes the reason you get picked. The judgment stays human. The details are the whole thing.

Make It Land brings that method to a small number of founders and leaders who are undervalued and ready to be chosen. Find the one thing. Prove it. Make it land.

Engagements

How engagements work

Most projects include positioning, messaging, and a custom website. Engagements start at $8,500, with most projects around $16,000. Typical scope is 5–8 pages, and projects usually run over several weeks.

Start smaller

A site review and positioning packet is available for $1,500 and can be credited toward a larger build started within 60 days.

Questions

What kinds of businesses do you work with?

I work primarily with founder-led businesses, independent experts, and small teams. Most are already established and have something customers value; the problem is that their positioning, website, or proof doesn't make that value obvious enough.

What does a typical project cost?

Website engagements start at $8,500, with most projects around $16,000 depending on scope. A smaller $1,500 site review and positioning engagement is available as a first step.

What does a typical engagement include?

Most projects combine positioning, messaging, and a custom website. The exact scope depends on what is getting in the way of being understood and chosen.

Do I need to have my positioning figured out first?

No. Positioning is part of the work.

Is Make It Land a branding studio, web studio, or positioning consultancy?

Make It Land is positioning-led. The work starts by clarifying what makes the business the obvious choice, then turns that into the brand, messaging, and website needed to express it.

Do you work with clients outside the Seattle area?

Yes.

What are you trying to land?

Make It Land takes on one or two engagements at a time.
